Asteroid
Asteroid is such a sweetheart! She is the momma of our group of love bugs and takes her job of keeping everyone in line very seriously. Her personality is very calm, but she will chase a ball with you alllll day long. Her favorite person is Joe and she thinks she is his lap dog. Her coat is extremely soft and she does so well with our kids!!
Asteroid and Orion blessed us with a surprise litter of 7 beautiful babies in April, 2019! Below you can travel along with us on their puppy blog. All pups reserved.

Week 8
June 15, 2019
Four of our six babies have made it to their forever homes! We are so happy for you all and look forward to seeing photos and hearing how well loved your sweet puppies are! Thank you so much for those who have already sent photos and updates, it is so very appreciated. Please always feel free to email or post photos to facebook to share with us! Once our last two babies go in the next few weeks, this puppy blog with be archived, but you will always be able to find it under Asteroid's page, at the very bottom, as a link: Asteroid's April 2019 Litter. This has been an amazing journey and we loved these pups so much! We are so happy they are all going to such great families!
Week 7
June 9, 2019
Well folks, this is it! Next Saturday the puppies are ready to go to their new homes. They are getting so big! I'm going to miss them, but I know everyone is anxious and excited to have their babies! I've heard back from 4 families from the 7 Week Email I sent out to gather all the information I need for registrations, so if those who have not replied could do so in the next few days that would be appreciated!! Also a friendly reminder that all balances are due in full before pick-up! I absolutely love this week's photos. The pups are super busy now, so it is a lot harder to get pictures of them, and my son's adorandic chair just worked out perfectly! Also, if anyone wants to provide a flash drive (must be Mac friendly), I will gladly give you the photos of your pup! Everyone enjoy and I look forward to meeting most of you very, very soon!

You know, at this point, I should know better than to promise photos by a specific date lol.... #toddlerlife #newbornlife
Anyway, here is the second round of pics! IF I get some time to work on it, I also took some video clips so I'll try to get them up tonight if possible. Otherwise, look for that email this afternoon!

Adventure
Having as much fun as he can!! Just look at that blurry one lol (I got 800 more like that one)
Voyager
He's such an adorable little guy. Still looks like his momma.
Quest
Couldn't get this little dude to sit still for his pictures! All boy.
Wilder
He's soooo soft!!
Journey
The personality. It just can't be contained.
Sojourner
Still just a sweetie.
May 25, 2019
Ok, so I tried to get pictures up for everyone today, but Joe is out of town with our newer laptop and the one I have won't load Photoshop at all today. He will be back Monday night, so my guess it I will get the photos up Tuesday morning. I will try my best to do a second round of photos or maybe a video for everyone this week to make up for it. But I will still post their descriptions since choosing is next Saturday!! Yay!! If anyone has any specific questions about the pups before choosing day, please don't hesitate to email me (email is best!). I will send out an email Friday regarding more specifics for how choosing day will work so stay tuned and watch your inboxes!
Update: Tuesday, May 28:
Photos are uploaded! Enjoy and look for a second batch late tomorrow or Thursday.

Adventure
5.6lbs
Adventure just looks so much like his dad! This pretty little guy likes to follow on Journey and Wilder's heels just about everywhere. He is not afraid of anything and is so spunky!
Voyager
5.7lbs
He's still our sweetest male. This little dude loves toys and blankets more than his siblings and is definitely just a happy little spirit. He also is a snuggler and loves attention.
Quest
5.6lbs
Quest has finally caught up with his legs and loves to run and play! He is a really good listener and almost always comes the fastest of all the pups when I call them! He also likes to sit in his water bowl and LOVES bathes like his mommy.
Wilder
5.15lbs
Wilder is still our biggest male and is just gorgeous. He is also starting to vie Journey for the most friendly and outgoing of all the pups. He is so loving and all he wants is to play with you!! He will do really great with a family with kids he can wrestle with and get tons of attention from!
Journey
4.12lbs
Journey just wants to play play play!! She is so outgoing and excited to see the world! Literally the bravest little dog I've ever met, she definitely has her mommy's adventurous spirit! Every time we take them somewhere new it takes her siblings a little bit to adjust but she is right off exploring and figuring things out! As you can see by the photos, she is SUCH a little character.
Sojourner
4.14lbs
This little lady continues to be the sweetest and gentlest of all the pups. She is much calmer than her sister and I'm pretty sure she thinks she is a lap dog. Everyone else might be playing with toys but she wants to snuggle.
Week 4
May 18, 2019
Puppies got their names this week! We are finally starting to see individual personalities and I can't wait to watch them grow into them even more. I did a little photo shoot with our 8 week baby, Stella, and the pups today. They are soooo cute I just can't handle it! There are a lot of pictures and I couldn't decide which ones I like best so I may or may not have just posted .... TONS OF PICTURES. Sorry. ;)
Anyway, enjoy the individual photos and descriptions!
Anyway, enjoy the individual photos and descriptions!
Adventure
Adventure is a very sweet male! He is already spunky and enjoys exploring. He is the most sturdy on his legs of all the pups and really gets around. I can already tell he is going to have his dads beautiful blocky head and lovely coat.
Voyager
I think Voyager is the sweetest of the puppies. He is such a happy little guy! He would definitely much rather watch Netflix and eat pizza than go hiking at this point and I think he is the only pup that doesn't really run around. He just wants to be close to me.
Quest
Quest is too fast for his legs. He wants to just run everywhere and see everything! He is the smallest of the males and has such a cute little face! He definitely has his mommy's eyes and is sooooo soft.
Wilder
Wilder is our most vocal pup. He is the most independent of the males, but he also likes you to know where he is. I think he will look the most like Orion and is the biggest male so far. He is definitely a character and is the one who instigates the most playing right now!
Journey
And this is our little Journey girl. From day one she has been a wanderer and is the reason we did this theme. All her siblings can be in a pile and she will be off on her own exploring. Definitely independent, but oh so sweet! She is always around my feet and playing. She also looooves soft blankets and toys.
Sojourner
Sojourner is still figuring out her land legs. She is so sweet and I think will look more like Asteroid than Journey. She is super docile and even plays gently. This little lady is a lap dog and loves to just lay there and be pet. Every time I tried to take her photo she kept trying to run back to my feet!
Week 3
May 12, 2019
Hey everyone! This week we decided to do a very special Week 3 video in honor of Mothers Day. I hope you all enjoy it! The pups have changed so much this week! They are starting to nibble on real food and drink water, as well as figuring out their land legs. You can see them wobbling around in the video and it is just soooo cute! Our son is excited because we are starting to allow him to play with them (under lots of supervision!!!) and he thinks they are the best things ever. Today was their very first time experiencing the outdoors and as you can see, they absolutely loved it!
Happy Mothers Day to all, and enjoy the video!

Week 2
May 4, 2019
Not much to update this week, but aren't they cute!!! We only have two more days of neurological stimulation. They are really starting to motor around and sound like big puppies now. We are also starting to condition them by introducing new sounds and experiences! See how cute they are with our kitty, Nebula!

Week 1 and 4 Days
May 1, 2019
I really hope this posts before midnight. We got hit by intense, tornadic storms last night and our wifi is extremely slow today... All is safe for us, but we are praying for those who lost their homes, including some dear family friends of ours.
Anyway, the pups are so much bigger and it has only been a few days since my last update! The basket I chose was barely big enough for them. We are really sad because we lost one of our sweet females on Monday. It's never easy when that happens, even though it is not uncommon in the first three weeks.
Everyone else is doing super well. They are still nursing great and Asteroid is starting to take longer breaks from them. Some peace for mom! She really loves them and it's so cute watching her clean them. Since my last update, all of them have opened their eyes. They are still camera shy but maybe you will get to see them at the Saturday update. They have had their first round of dewormer and are all responding well to the daily neurological stimulation. I'm hoping to post a video of that before we are done with it. Our son desperately wants to play with them and doesn't understand they are still too little. I can't wait until they are big enough and we can get some photos of them together!

Week 1
April 27, 2019
***I uploaded this April 27th, but accidentally forgot to publish until April 28th***
Asteroid's puppies are doing so well! They are one week today and are soooo cute! Asteroid is nursing them well and they have put on so much chub. Their noses, ears, and paws are black now and this next week they will really start to change and begin looking like big puppies. They are nosing around their little baby area now and finding out that they have voices! It's still little squeaks, but they will learn to bark soon. We have one puppy who loves to wander, so when it comes time to name them we are doing an Adventure Theme and naming him Journey. :) Enjoy the photos and this week I will be doing a second update so stay tuned!

Puppies Born!
April 20, 2019
Last night Asteroid delivered 7 healthy puppies! I believe there are 3 girls and 4 boys. We are super excited and the puppies are gorgeous! Asteroid is settling in and it's so sweet seeing her love on her babies. So far they are all nursing and are doing really well! Joe's father is here for Easter, so they both took our son Atlas for an Easter egg hunt this morning. Once he gets back and can watch our newborn, I'll take some photos of them for everyone! I will also be getting photos of Orion up as soon as I can!
4:45pm
Enjoy the photos!! The puppies are soooooo cute and I just love their little pink noses and paws. They will outgrow them quickly, so this little newborn stage is one of my favorites. I am pretty positive about their genders and have already separated them by sex for a couple pictures. Our one smaller puppy is one of the sweet females. You can see her on top in the female pics!

Surprise!!
Asteroid decided to surprise us with an unexpected litter! Our vet did not believe she was capable of conceiving, but when we took her in to be spayed we were pleasantly surprised to find out she had actually bred successfully with Orion!! Her surprise litter is expected sometime at the end of April, but we do not have an exact date since we were unaware that she had bred. We will not be accepting deposits until her babies are born. Stay tuned for more!!

More About Asteroid
Asteroid joined our family with all her spunk and spirit in December 2015. You can feel the love and adoration oozing out of this girl when you are at her side! Always game for an adventure, she is eager to see new places and meet new people. Super polite and intelligent, she has quite a few tricks up her sleeve and enjoys showing them off to her admirers!
